Board Certified Women’s Health Specialist in Pregnancy, Postpartum, Female Pelvic Health
Stacey Hendricks, founder of Elevate Physical Therapy, is a doctor of physical therapy and the only board-certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist within a 90-mile radius of Cincinnati. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Cincinnati and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Hendricks has 10 years of experience specializing in women’s health and pelvic health in adults and adolescents. She treats conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and bowel and bladder dysfunction. As a specialist in women’s health, she provides comprehensive physical therapy care for women throughout the lifespan from first menstruation through post-menopause. She has earned Certificates of achievement in Obstetrics and Postpartum Physical Therapy and provides specialized care for pregnancy and postpartum-related back pain and orthopedic injuries, abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti), and postpartum pelvic floor dysfunctions. Dr. Hendricks has additional specialty training in manual therapies of Gynecological Visceral Manipulation, the Maitland Approach, and Trigger Point Dry Needling.
Dr. Hendricks serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Sexual Health Consortium and is a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Women’s Health and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. She serves her professional community as a lecturer to doctoral students at Mount St. Joseph University, through teaching at national courses for licensed physical therapists through the APTA Section on Women’s Health, and by educating local medical providers, fitness professionals, and community members.
