I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 40 years of clinical experience. My area of particular interest includes sexual and marital problems. I work with individuals and couples around issues including low sexual desire, discrepancy of sexual desire, sexual aversion and arousal disorders, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, male and female orgasmic disorders, sexual pain disorders and sexual addictions, infertility and gender issues.

 

I also have a strong interest in self-esteem issues and much experience working with depression and anxiety disorders. For all my years of private practice I have been a Volunteer Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati Department of Psychiatry, training psychiatric residents and medical students in general psychiatry and also educating them about the importance of sexual issues in the practice of psychiatry.

 

My treatment orientation is eclectic and includes a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral and marital therapy approaches. My therapeutic style is active, exploratory and supportive.
